A web development enthusiast from Porto, Portugal. I’m devoted to working with software development implementations, analysis and modeling, and solving challenging problems. My method of work is using test driven development and version control, which I believe are essential tools for the development of good software. Some of the tools for automated tests that I've worked with are PHPUnit. My main interests are projects using one or more of the PHP, Mysql, JavaScript with test driven development and agile methodologies. I have a great interest in learning new programming languages and technologies. Over the last 4 years I’ve worked for companies in the E-commerce area, including long term jobs and some freelancing by using several different programming languages and technologies.

Toogas a Magento e-commerce development company, I was hired originally as an extra developer however my skill sets waived them to have me in role with their custom Magento E Commerce department. My daily development with Toogas included re-writting blocks, models, helpers, controllers for their clients special needs, version control, custom module
development, configuring modules, adding products, categories, languages, different views, different languages, different coins, configure and integrate shipping and payment methods, new blocks for different views, or custom cms pages, connection with Rest systems. Contributed with some ideas to improve and simplify the company process of development, this way contributing for some of the major league Magento e-commerce websites in Portugal.
• VASVERDE - PROJECT
Portugal’s leader who sells grass for european sports stadiums, the main objective of the first app was to register the grass conditions on the field, to be previewed and analyzed for future interventions in a daily bases.
The 2nd app intended to monitor user tasks on the field. The ability to control the position of the co-worker and how long the task was taking to finish by worker, the machine being used, team task control, driven GPS coordinates, and current weather conditions.

Bombas de Gasolina is a GPS android native application thats shows Portugal’s gas stations near you and the their current gasoline pricing. I was in charge of the development of the native app and the back-office, providing the functionality the client needed, the back-office the administrator add the main role, where he could import, edit and delete prices or information from different gas stations.

Footagora is a branch of Kuantokusta.pt, there was an opportunity of new market they could explore in soccer schedule, a new plataform that would fit the customers soccer playing schedule. The main objective was to deliver an easy to use system where users could schedule the game for a specific day and time with they're friends in Facebook and at the same time pay the fee of for the game.
I was involved in the development of the front-end and database of the system with the look and feel provided by the client, created different screens one being a calendar where users chose the date, time and the field via google maps a dot was a soccer field where you could schedule in a date/time availability, I developed the invitation system where users were able to invite their friends from Facebook and add them as friends in the game. I developed the ranking
system where users could rank each friend based on the skills they showed in the game played and the score for each team, along with many other functionalities.

Kuantokusta is an online product price comparison site and at the time of being hired they were looking for a developer who could expand the volume of traffic incoming to the website by having a custom affiliation system built.
The main objective of the system included a copy & paste code to the registered users to be able to include on their websites as a banner with products they choose. Each click generated by a visitor on one of the products would give the registered affiliate an income percent.
I was hired to develop the custom system in php/mysql within a tight schedule to provide all the functionality the client needed and at the same time keep the look and feel provided.
