Our client is an exciting start-up that opened a new office in York in January. They are looking for a Junior Java Developer interested in taking on varied tasks, covering a mix of development, testing and delivery of their products and services to their clients.
You’ll build components of a platform for analysing social media data to unearth regular patterns of behaviour.
This is a completely new team! You’ll have the opportunity to form the way the company grows, and the way they work. They promote a fun and lively atmosphere, and to shape the company culture around the shared interests of the team.

Required:
• /BEng in computer science, electronics or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Java or C++
• An interest in web services and social media.
• Experience with databases would be a definite plus, particularly ‘NoSQL’ databases such as MongoDB.
